If ya don't watch out ... life moves at a screaming pace!! My last day at the childcare center is the 25th of August ... and I start my new job, downtown, on the 29th. Database management, basically. Go me!

Went to set up the scanner ... found the USB cable, but the power cable seems to have vanished into the abyss of boxes & misc cables we haven't had time to sort out yet. Bah!!!! I was so excited and ambitious, but I can't do too much if it doesn't have any power source in which to use to scan my images so I can show off my latest attempts at being an artist. LOL

But, all in all, things are going fabulously. I'm loving my new location, roommates, and hopefully my new "career" ...
